Would a cardboard chandelier be a fire hazard?
I really love the look of them and I am in the process decorating my room. I want one, and was wondering if they are a potential fire hazard. My dad is super crazy about my safety. But if they are I am willing to buy a faux chandelier that isn't cardboard. But before I waste my money I want to know weather I could just make one.
Not a smart thing to do. Bulbs get very hot and could ignite the cardboard, or a short in the wiring can ignite the cardboard. Just too dangerous. Go get a metal one.
