Target Face Kick

Can I shoot a .44 Magnum?

Hello, I asked this same question a couple weeks ago and I said this: Hello, I'm 13 year's old and my dad is taking me to shoot a .44 magnum on thursday. I'm 5'9'' and weight 170. I have shot a .357 magnum and I shot it thinking it didn't have that much kick at all. What i'm saying is do you think I would be able to shoot a .44 magnum safely without letting go? Like I said, I shot a .357 and I shot probably 12 rounds" I have some changes, I did go out and shoot it, but my dad didn't tell me I was only going to shoot target shooting bullets. I did shoot the target shooting bullets just fine and I thought the kick was super little. But, this time he showed me the bullets and they are 240 gr. bullets. Can I handle a 240 gr. kick without it hitting me in the face or dropping it?

Yea, then you can do it easily. You wont have any trouble, just make sure you have a good grip on the gun and dont worry about the kicking... and you might want to make sure the sights are lined up right
