what kind of wood would be best for a training weapon?
Im wanting to make some training weapons for myself (like bokken, bo's, daito's ect.) and I was wondering what kind of wood would be best for them. I care most for the durability of the wood more than anything. if you could tell me some woods that would work, tell me about them, give a little discription about the wood if you want!
i prefer hickory, for most of my weapons.
a lot of it is preference, some people prefer waxwood others oak
this will give you a brief description of the types of wood.
