Curved or straight kick shield?
For karate and taekwondo training, which is better - a curved or straight kick shield? Also please tell me the pros and cons for each.

is it better to be made of leather?
I don't see that it matters if the shield is curved or straight. What i do think is important is what type of padding is in it. I prefer the air shields. I ones I've had contained a tire innertube. Good because you can vary the air pressure to change the hardness/softness of the shield. Their other types of shields don't allow you to change their feel. Just my opinion.
