What's the difference between being negative and realistic?
People say I am negative. Honestly I feel I am just being realistic.

Some people want to put on a happy face and pretend the world is good. They don't want to hear about problems, because they are shallow, fair weather friends. Other people are only happy when they have something to complain over. They crave attention rather than a solution to their problems. Neither type is any better off. They are both suffering a form of delusion.
I would rather be realistic. But when faced with non realistic people, I have adopted a policy of speaking as little as possible.
Some claim I can walk on water. Others say I can't swim. The truth is, I just know where the rocks are.
