What's a good taekwondo school?

Do branches suck? Or are they still good? Or does it depend on the instructors? Should I avoid branches and only go to the main places?

Like at this place: http://www.sunchongstkd.com/index.htm

There's 2 facilities, a branch (which is a lot closer to me) and their headquarters. I don't know whether the branch would be bad or not.
The one I was thinking about going to has:

-Open tournaments.
-They do both olympic style and the self defense one.

I'm not sure if the belts are easy or not because I'm not sure what's easy. They show the requirements for each belt on this page

Go to the school and look for the following:
1. Is the training hard?
2. Do they just do olympic style, or do they also work with hand techniques and hapkido grappling?
3. Are belts easy to come by, or hard? IF it takes less than a MINIMUM Of 3 years to 1st Dan...run.
4. Watch an advanced class..how good do they seem?
5. If they compete is it in open tournaments or just closed? Open means all styles can come. Try your hand against Kenpo, Shotokan, Kung Fu, etc.
